As a CG animator you spend most of your time in front of your computer. It's recommended that every 20-30 minutes you should move away your eyes from a monitor and look at the sky (if you have a window) or at the wall for at least 5 or 4 minutes. But of cause, it's hard to look at something without a motivation. Here is what I did last year. I've fastened on the wall a roll of paper just leaving enough space so I can do some drawing on it. Every time when I'd have my little break I sketch on this paper anything that first would come to my mind. When the spot is filled with my charcoal drawing I'd roll the paper leaving a spot enough for the next drawing. I've never looked at what I drawn there until I finished the roll. Well, I can't say that It was useless. It's fun!
